Hayley + Cabias | Portraits | Orlando, FL

I've been sitting on this shoot for a while now, but mostly because I loved it so much. I think it's safe to say these images are my best work to date. The concept was in my mind for a while (at least a year) and all the details hit me one night and I made it happen the following week. Hayley and Cabias work together and have shot together before so I knew they already a connection which I wanted to express in the photos. I wanted everything to be really simple and straightforward. We shot on a white background with one light. The models wore black and white with simple flowers and simple makeup. I knew I wanted simple white-lined makeup and I let our awesome hair and make-up artist, Haley Finegan, do whatever came to mind. She did not disappoint. Her makeup created a physical connectivity between the two models that is usually left unsaid. Everything was a little weird and I loved it. Thank you to our models, Cabias Thomas and Hayley Boulicault, to our amazingly talented HMUA, Haley Finegan, and of course to my Florida partner-in-crime, Wayne Denny, for making this idea of mine come to fruition. Wayne also made this kick-ass BTS video of our shoot. Check it out! And once again, thanks for stopping by :)

Chelsea | Portraits | Orlando, FL

I know Chelsea from shooting for Impact Wrestling. She plays Laurel Van Ness and is the best hot mess I've ever seen! I had been wanting to do an athletic shoot for quite a while and she was perfect for it. I wanted to do something raw and sweaty and a bit gritty. There was a cool overpass location that looked over the Florida Turnpike which I had been wanting to use for years and I finally got my chance. We did a couple of other looks before the athletic one and you can see them all below. Thanks for stopping by!
